Torino remains featured in Motor Trend Classic
Readers of this month excellent issue of Motor Trend Classic will be able to see what you readers of the Truxmore Torino Blog already have: the remains of the recently unearthed Donlavey chassis! We are glad to see that the specialized press is picking up the story. To tell you the truth, it was thanks to MTs editor Matt Stone that we got our picture, of what could become the reborn Truxmore Torino, in the first place!
I know this photo.I actually gave this guy some info, history and photos of old Donlavey cars.If I am correct. The guy bought the car from someone who had gotten it from the government. The Donlavey cars were purchased by the U.S. government and used for training in defensive driving class for federal officials,or who ever they were.I told him there was a chance it could be a Richard Brooks,Dick Trickle,Ricky Rudd or maybe even the LeMans Truxmore Torino.I gave him some info on contacting Mr.Donlavey.The car looks a lot more cleaned up compared to months ago.I would damn near give my left boy for an old Ford like this. Would love to hear updates on this.Keep up the good work.

David,
thanks for your comment. Do you know how many of these 115" chassis Junie Donlavey had and did sell to the Government ?
